Oh man, where do I begin?
I live in the UAE, so Veo 3 isn’t accessible easily.
I’ll leave you the details on how I finally got it, but I did.
So, the tools used:
Video: Veo 3
Editing: CapCut
Some in-between shots: Midjourney images made into a video
Theme - Indian Wedding going wrong.
Story - I had my entire story written out, so I just threw the entire thing into Google Gemini and I asked it to give me a few shots.
It started easily, and I was getting good videos, but consistently creating characters was a challenge, so I asked Gemini to rework the entire thing to convey the mood of the wedding, rather than the actual characters.
I gave it the shots I needed and asked it to come up with the prompt.
Key themes: happy, mysterious, chaotic, sad faces, happy bridegroom, etc.
And once I finally got them all to a place I needed, I stitched them with CapCut.
It’s not hard, but it’s not easy either.
Editing to achieve fluidity took oodles of time (ensuring music matched, etc.).
I wasn’t happy with the result, but in the end, I want to get something out, as perfection is the enemy of progress.
Here’s the story:
And here’s the final trailer:
No way to get better other than getting those reps in.
I plan to.
